A while back i tried to update windows explorer to explorer 7, anyway when i open Internet explorer it keeps saying "customise your settings" and this is the screen i get, i'm sure it's not right and even when i try clicking on save your settings etc nothing happens, so has this happened to anyone else and if so how did you rectify it ? screen grab below, many thanks in advance

Just click on 'Keep my current default search provider' in the top half (under required settings) and click save my settings.

Then close and reopen the browser.

You'll find that this screen won't appear again after this.
