I have a problem with my denon x2000. I carnt get it to play true hd audio. Iv selected it in the discs menu and on the blu ray player it shows up as it's playing true hd. Is this a problem with the denon?

Iv attached a pic to show what's happening.

Is your bluray player set to bitstream. It seems to be converting what ever its playing to stereo. Just check the audio settings on the bluray it may say pass through or something else instead of bitstream

It's set to DTS re-encode. Iv watched around 4-5 blu rays on it. But this is the first one Iv had a problem with. I think it may be the first 7.1hd audio film Iv watched on this player.

It's an LG player. I will try setting it to bitstream. I will let you know how it goes.

No matter what player it is just set it to bitstream that way you get the best audio sent through to the amp
