Hi
I've recently bought a Tosh 32ZD18P TV. My Tosh SD100E DVD is connected to it via Scart set to ( s-video ).
The problem is that some times when I try to watch the DVD using its Digital 5.1 sound, the sound does not come on. I then have to flick through the aux's back to aux 3 ( set up for DVD ), to get the 5.1 sound on.
I have tried another fibre optic cable & co-ax ( still does it ) & I have borrowed another ( Sony ) DVD, this eliminated the problem.
Has anyone got an idea as to what could be causing the problem? The DVD was bought new & already chipped from Richer Sounds.

Thanks

Sounds like a faulty player -> replacement.
