Problem with Blu-ray player during set up

Just received a L.G. Oled television, on connecting it up to the Sony Blu-ray player, I am having a problem with the link. My T.V. screen is pink!, and when I played a disc, the picture had a green hue and no sound. Has any members come across this issue? Any help would be much appreciated,thank you

HDMI Corruption.

This problem is usually remedied by removing both devices from the mains for a few minutes.

Re-connect to mains and try again, turning on the TV before powering up the Bluray player.

Just thought, I'd update you on my issue, my brother suggested trying a different blu-ray player, borrowed another one which worked fine. Bought another Sony player, problem solved!. So, I'd like to thank everyone who suggested what may be the issue. Wouldn't have any problem recommending this site to anyone who has problems with their T.V. or audio set ups.
