Hi all, Rob here, newbie. I've taken a Blaupunkt radio cassette out of a Corsa and found the body of the radio plugs directly into two sockets at the back of the holder while the replacement CD has a different, much smaller, plug on the back. It has the correct plugs on wire ends and works fine when they're connected but won't let the CD player go all the way in. 
Are the sockets at the back of the holder adapters of some kind and can they be removed (had a tug at them and they seem pretty secure)? If they were not there, I think it'd fit.
If they can be removed, in a nutshell, how?! Or is this a case of it's just too big?! Thanks guys
