Hi, i've bought a few day ago an Oppo 205 that i connect via usb to my hard disk in which there is all my video bluray library, as i did before with my Primare BD 32. Now, when i select a movie from the list, Oppo open its folders and i have to select m2ts file for starting play the movie. The problem is born when I want to skip to a chapter later or earlier than what I'm watching because I can only use the fast forward/rewind functions while with Bd 32 this operation happened successfully !
It's like the movie was a single chapter ( when i ripped, copied my films on bluray discs into the HD, i removed all the extras, foreign languages and subtitles, keeping only italian track ).
I would be grateful if someone could give me some explanation about it.

That is how chapters are organised on Blu-rays.
There are playlists which are what you select from the Blu-ray menu and they contain lists of m2ts files. It is possible that the individual m2ts files were combined into a single file.

I've always used DVDfab decrypter for my bluray discs without any problems when i'played them from hd with Primare BD32 ( this didn't open the bd's folders ) or Oppo 105 eu. Oppo 205 opens the film's folders:thumbsdow and force me to select m2ts file with the consequent problem described above.
205 behaves like my PC when on the hard disk i play a film....

I don't think m2ts supports internal chapters as such. On devices that support folder level playback then each m2ts is a separate chapter. If you want chapters in a single file then I think you need to look at creating an MKV instead and preserve the chapter info when you rip.

    m2ts cannot support chapters.
