Question Problem playing DVD via HDMI-Sony 32WE6xx/32RE4xx

Standard Member
This TV will play most DVDs OK, but my B in L has some railway DVDs produced by Transport Video Publishing, these display the preamble video fine but when selecting an option from the menu an error is displayed, like some sort of copy protection has been activated.
I can play this DVD fine through my Panasonic TV using the same DVD player as used with the Sony TV.
Both TV's are less than 6 months old.
We've spoken to Transport Video Publishing, they say they've never headed of such a problem.
Anyone have any ideas before we chase John Lewis who sold the Sony.
Thanks Fred

Tried different HDMI ports but still a problem.
The error message when selecting a menu item is "Display Prohibited by Disk.
Just to say again that the pre-menu video plays perfectly.
