I bought a new Panasonic TH37PA20 for my new house. Its set up and when on looks great. HOWEVER, after 2-8 minutes of watching it (TV or DVD) it’s just turns itself off. It’s like it gone to stand-by however the red light flashes on and off rather than just stays constantly on. You cannot turn it back on using the remote, you must turn it off and then turn it back on again and the picture comes back only to turn off again after a short while.

Other than this it seems to work fine – great picture and sound (if only for 2-8 minutes!).

I tried resetting to factory settings, doesn’t work.
I’ve checked the sleep timer and that’s off.
It’s well ventilated so it’s not like it’s over heating.
I’ve looked through the manual and it makes no comments on this or what a red flashing light means.

    Any ideas?

Unfortunately it's a known fault and needs to be looked at as it's to do with the power supply board. You need to contact your dealer so they can either send an engineer out or get it taken away to be repaired.
