I've been recording a TV series on my E50 onto RAM disc then transfering it to my PC via a LG4040b burner and TMPEnc DVD Author to put onto DVD-R, but have now come across a problem - when I try and extract one of the episodes, I get a 'Stream Readingf Error' although the ep plays fine on the E50 - any ideas?

    Cheers

Can you copy the files onto the hard disc using copy and paste? Then use add DVD Video in DVD Author.

You can also then try renaming the VRO file to MPG and use add file in DVD Author.

I tried copying the folder over off the RAM disc and that failed too.
I'll try your other suggestion, but when i look at the files on the disc there's no way of just getting off 1 program that i can see (there's 7 on there in total).

    7?

The file has to be renamed when on the hard disc. Usually there is just three. a IFO, BUP and the VRO. All the programs will be together in this VRO file.

    Is the disc clean?

Ah, yes just found that out - I tried copying to the H/D and got a failed redundency check message,

    Yes, the disc is clean.
