I'm trying to get my PC running windows ME to detect my Panasonic NV-ds37.
I have a OHCI card installed which is working fine.
Everytime I connect my Camcorder, it appears in device manager with yellow exlamation mark. I have installed the latest versions of runtime from Microsoft but this doesn't help.
Where can I find the correct driver?
    help please!

    I have a similar problem under 2K.

I have no idea why, but sometimes 2K will just forget the divers. I have to move the DV card to a new PCI slot to get it working again.

    Strange.

Hello everyone - just to let you know we've solved our problem by buying a Window XP upgrade package (about £70) - the camera was recognised straight away & we've had no problems at all

I too had the same problem, but discovered that in studio 7 you have to provide info on the "capture device". This done , I had no more problems. It even captured without info in device manager and I'm on win98se.

After many months of pain trying to get my PC to recognise my camcorder I finally managed.
I upgraded to XP and hey presto! no problems whatsoever.
Its all I can advise to people suffering similar problems.

    Hi,
I have JVC GR-DVP9 and worked fine on my XP laptop, but I couldn't make it work on Win2k. It wasn't detected.
I spent 2 weeks and discovered just last night that it works when I unplugged my network cable. I tried everything before, re-shuffled cards, re-installed software several times etc.
At the end I replaced network card and now it works fine.
    Strange.
Network card and connection was working fine otherwise.
