    Hi all,

having bought an lG 42" plasma last week and overcome the roblem of connecting my Digibox (used a scart to 5 phono lead into the yellow video input) im now having trouble with the VCR.

Its a pretty old JVC one, but does the job i want. Its just got 2 scart sockets in the back, so i assumed if i piggybacked this into my skybox using scart to scart then there shouldnt be a problem.

However, it seem to record ok, but when pressing play it stops the signal from the digibox as it would normally do, but then there's no signal at all in to the plasma??? the sound still comes from my amp however.

    any suggestions? probably something obvious!

also any suggestions/pictures on a decent way to hide wires??
ive got the power lead, s-video going to DVD and RCA going to digibox? not looking very tidy!!

    cheers rob

    Hi thanks,

I think the picture seems ok, well it doesnt bother me anyway, but im always open to better suggestions.

The model is LGMZ42PZ17 plasma, i have a normal Digibox (pace), Panasonic DVD player with 2 scarts, a JVC VCR with 2 scarts and a Gamecube, also Sony Amp STR - DB930.

what the best way you can recommend?

    Many thanks

    Rob

Thanks, i have the AV board. It seem that the DVD picture going to the s-video is worse than Sky using composite, seems very grainy certainly worse than it was using the scart into my old telly! So what;s this JS RGB to YUV thing then? Sorry not too techincally minded! got any links, and can you explain the exact way of connecting things?

Also any ideas, pictures of hiding wires, im fresh out of ideas! except for drilling holes!

    thanks
    Rob
