    Hi,

Is it possible to record two or more tv channels simultaneously with any of the DVD/HDD recorders, in particular the Pioneer models? I'd appreciate any advice, thanks.

No. All current HDD/DVDR only have one tuner/encoder which means they can all only record on channel. Toshiba, Panasonic, Pioneer, JVC and Sony DVD/HDD combos (among others) all allow you to record one channel whilst watching a previously recorded programme (including the one actually recording) or a DVD though.
