    has anyone heard of these speakers..? my colleague going to pay 600 notes for a pair of floorstanders...not sure which model tho!

    Pro-Ac make excellent speakers and they have a very high reputation in hifi circles

    just an update here, amp and cd player are from cyrus 8 range...so, speakers, will they match..?

    also, what about speaker cables and interconnects..?

    As IanJ says...a very reputable brand,of which I have many happy memories from the old EBS speakers.
    They've diversified into the lower and of the market also now,but still produce good quality speakers,which are generally easy to drive,so the cyrus amps should have no problems with them.
    At that sort of price range,any good quality,but not ultra-expensive cables should be fine....QED etc are well worth a look.

    yeah, I think I frequent too many of these forums...however, I do limit them to work hours only... 8o)
    the what hifi is the worst, it gets updated about once a day...pah!
