Just cut this from Tag Maclarans Web site

Pro Logic II and the AV32R

can be added as a software upgrade to all existing AV32R, whether '5.1' or 'THX Surround EX Plus' specification. The upgrade is expected to ship in approx. one month. It is our first chargeable software upgrade and will retail for £79.95 in the UK (RRP incl. VAT), reflecting development and license costs.

Thats it no more messing with new amps every year Im going to start saving for a Tag and some slave amps. In fact I could use my A1 as a slave for a while

PL 2 has been available for some time now. HDCD upgrade is due anyday. It is currently beta testing. DTD Discrete / neo is due to start beta testing in the next few weeks.

    Neil,

That upgrade has been available for a while, but it's still an interesting quote because according to Dolby, the Pro Logic II licence costs nothing to existing licensees of Pro Logic. An inexpensive upgrade and slick upgrade method though, well worth it for the addition of Pro Logic II.
