Just thought I would pop up some notes on what you can expect when trying the songs, feel free to contribute and I will update the first post - only going to start on Medium level upwards because Easy seems just too easy (but good for building up guitar coordination). Hopefully this will make sense if you have tried the tutorials. :)

Strings 1 to 6 Top to Bottom
E
A
D
G
B
E

Medium Level

Faith No More : Midlife Crisis - Need to be quick on the Power Chords on frets 5 and 7 on string A - individual notes from string A to string D to on frets 5 and 7 - Using index and ring finger for power chords. The following thanks to pboreham: "Midlife Crisis section, just make a 2 fingered power chord shape on 5 and 7 and hold that down all the time - then you just need to pick the relevent strings.

Heart of Glass: - on medium its alternating frets 8,9 and 11 on the G string, so put your middle finger on 9, index finger on 8 and just lift off of 9 when you want to play 8 and play 11 with your little finger..."

Raveonettes : Last Dance - Power chords mostly on string A - from frets 4-6 but also on string E - using index and ring finger for power chords

Ramones : I Wanna Be Sedated - starts off simple enough with two finger power chords on strings E and A fret 7 then shifts to 9 - easy guitar solo using on strings E (bottom) and B then becomes more complex introducing power chords on frets 2 and 4 mixed with 7 and 9, ending with easy guitar solo but this time holding button down on fret 7, power chords using index and ring finger.

Marylin Manson : The Beautiful People - Basically 'muted' (cannot do it on Mustang, so just strum open strings) then alternates between barre chords on '0', 3 and 5 frets. Incredibly easy song to 'play'.

T-Rex : 20th Century Boy- Repetitive song with notes mainly on fret 2 covering the top 3 strings, the main riff is normally covered by frets 9 or 12 on strings B and E, the solo consists of notes on frets 5,7,8 and this can be tricky, the ending is also tricky using frets 12 and on but you should be able to scrape by.

David Bowie - Space Oddity: Cracking song to practice on 70% speed as it will test your knowledge of your tutorials as it does power chords on string A before launching into Open Chords C and D, some notes will be used on fret 2 and the lower end of the fret board at times, but excellent structure on this to memorise.

Done :)

Also managed to play through Marylin Manson's "The Beautiful People" and found that ok but totally forgot what chord strings were played.

Indeed, but good for building up some speed and confidence before being knocked down by Jim Morrisons band. :rotfl:

Couple more added, some of the supposedly less difficult songs according to the game are harder than later ones for me.
