    Hi

I was wondering if anyone had managed to get any chain shop (curry's, comet etc) in the vicinity of Empire Direct, to match prices with them.

If not, what excuse did they give, because as far as i can tell from the adverts, they have a retail area, and their goods are U.K (as apposed to grey imports)

I think the answers would make interesting reading.

    cheers

    Dean

As far as I am aware, John Lewis will match internat prices, but you will have to give them details and they will include any delivery costs that the internet site specify when matching the price.

These chains will not normally price match mail order, phone or e-retailers; only real "shops". Even Empire's own retail outlets don't attempt to match their own company's mail order prices.

I stand corrected, as of last Tuesday JL stopped matching internet prices. Not sure why but there you go.

    Sorry
