Well my RD50 will have its first birthday in 3 weeks time,so i dont want to tempt fate but the warranty on the lamp will run out and knowing my luck i've started to check prices.
So far £186.83(with v.a.t) seems the cheapest at: http://www.rlsupplies.co.uk/products/product.asp?id=157627
can anyone find a cheaper price?
I've used about 5000hrs so far and its quoted at 10000 so heres hoping for another year.

Its a lot of hours i know
It goes on early at 7.30 when the wife gets up(GMTV) and left on all day.
Kids come home from school and watch their cr*p
Then its all the soaps and then i get my look in at about 10pm till about 1 or 2am.
This is why im a bit worried about the price of a lamp.

    And Locky79,

There was a post on here that shows you how to get to the service menu, but cant remember right now.
When i did it i was a bit nervous as you do it at your own risk.
This showed you the number of hours on the lamp.
At the time my lamp was on 3600hrs and i just worked it out from then to now as i did'nt really want to try it again.
