Lampard has been given the most easiest ride ever.....loss of hazard, yea have u seen hazard this season or even tonight? hes had a worse season than sanchez at united. With hindsight pulisic has had a blinder of a season and that down to good recruitment by those in charge at chelsea. English favouritism just like how he has been handed his two managerial positions so far.

Ah right .... that makes sense now !!

Lampard took Chelsea from 3rd to 4th in the league. Lost an FA Cup final to a largely shambolic Arsenal and conceded the same amount of league goals as Brighton. He shouldn't be on that list

Lost Hazard, Chelsea’s best player, couldn’t sign anyone because of the transfer ban - wouldn’t call that an easy ride.

He’s put his faith in Abraham and Mount, seems to be getting a song out of Giroud. Players seem to want to play for him.

Obviously a player of his stature is going to get a bit of a head start, that’s natural

Look at hazard now

Chelsea had already secured a replacement in pulisic. No doubt they would have been aware of their impending investigation into them and subsequent ban so they acted fast probably cos they had promised hazard to let him leave. He inherited a squad that won last season's EL and qualified for cl football via a top 4 league position.

Returning to the club were 4 fully seasoned academy players who had at least one full season out on loan regularly getting first team football. Some were on their 2nd loan spell.

He even personally managed two of these players the season before so he's walked in knowing the full abilities of mount and tomori. James was Wigan's POTS that season and Abraham I think was championship top goal scorer in his 3rd season on loan.

With all this in mind, taking up the role as Chelsea manager, he's hardly short due to the transfer ban. Infact it's more been like lost one and gained 5 players.

Finishing with cl qualification is finishing on par to where Chelsea and the playing personal should be. Not over achieving or under achieving.

He seems to get a lot of credit for blooding these younger players in but apart from mount they have all been in and out the squad. When in all honesty his hand was kinda forced with the ban. Was he lucky to stumble across their success or would it have happened anyways if there was no ban. We'll never know.

Can't ignore the defensive issues, the goals conceded column speaks for itself as they all can't be blamed on kepa.

Lampard has done a decent job in his rookie season as a pl manager but nomination for manager of the season is a joke. The likes dyche or even Bruce deserve if more than he does

Certainly given an easier ride by the media and less pressure compared to certain of his fellow pl managers

Not really. It’s a completely different situation as it’s based on 2 years Prem and 1 years championship.

No I mean the reason why Wolves withdrew their letter to CAS.

We shouldn’t have sent it in the first place to be honest.

Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi has left the club

KdB player of the year. He’s been tremendous, fully deserved.
I'm surprised he didn't win the other season tbh.

Fully deserved, best midfielder in the league and truly World class.

I can't believe Henderson didn't win it

Minamino must have been in with a shout, just didn't get enough minutes after the restart.

The bigger travesty is that BRUNO!! didn’t get it.
Yeah, but he's a shoo-in for the lesser known but equally important SCMVP (since Covid most valuable player) award. Be interesting to see who wins that next time round

You joke but didn't Pogba get in the PL team of the year last season?

Follow your dreams and anything is possible.

BRUNO!! clearly dreams of playing for a big club one day. He’s really put himself in the shop window with his Utd penalties, sorry performances.

Do you really want to play the 'big club'
game?

I'm sure some fans on here were getting their knickers in a twist at the start of the season because Pogba / Rashford missed a few pens. Now Utd have got someone who never seems to miss, people are still getting themselves upset. There's no pleasing some people.
