Kane would be a massive signing but so is Lukaku. Liverpool losing Mane and Salah for the African Cup of Nations will have an impact. Palace with a new manager and big squad changes...

You forgot Keita :D

Also even if both Mane/Salah's teams get to the final, they are only going to miss two league games the way it is scheduled, against Brentford and Palace.

Agree about Palace, Viera has a hell of a job on there and they don't have a kind start. Wouldn't be surprised he's gone by Christmas.

A bit of an aside but also relevant - Man City couldn't give a toss about the Champions League. Do they want to win it? Of course they do (especially Pep) but if they don't will move on. City don't have any love for UEFA and never have. What if PSG are the ones to implode?

The press would be all over it.

You've misunderstood the point of the thread.

A bit sad/predictable that just about everyone has gone with the same top 4.

I can’t make a case for any of those teams dropping out of the CL places. Leicester obviously would be the main candidates to break in to the top 4, and i guess Spurs could if Kane stays and Nuno has an instant galvanizing impact.

As for the winners - Chelsea.
The BBC survey of their 'expert pundits' returns the same result, alas, one solitary shout-out for Leicester.

Agree with you about (1) Chelsea. Tuchel is a beast of a manager. Solid squad with its most obvious deficiency addressed.

After losing a Champion's League final Spurs's season nosedived, so that could happen to (2) Man City. Grumpy overthinking loser Guardiola on a downward spiral.

(3) Man Utd. Solskjaer. Bet he wishes he'd thought of swapping goalies before penalties vs Villarreal.

(4) Liverpool. The no obvious replacement for Wijnaldum thing. The shallow squad depth. The possibly burned-out Klopp issue.

Dangerous floaters - Leicester, Spurs, Leeds, Villa.

What a season that would be though. Just imagine
In a parallel universe of parity out there somewhere, this is happening.

As @faiz0 says, a bit predictable in the top 4, but a good argument could be made for them to be in any order.

There's always twist and turns along the way. Exciting season ahead.

Leeds will implode. Just a feeling as everyone is now familiar with the Belisa play book.

Rubbish, heard similar ever since we got Bielsa.

Turn that argument around, Leeds and Biesla now know how the err 'big 6' now play. May have got the better of us when we were a bit naive before Xmas but look at how we organised the team on the return fixtures, Beilsa changed the formation to suit, not one of the 'big 6' beat us at Elland Rd (or after Xmas)!

Think some of you lot are in for a shock visiting Elland Rd ;-)

Rather than listing who I think will finish where, I'm going to say...

Brentford will stay up & Arteta won't last the season.

And a very close 5th for Leicester

Bottom, the 3 who came up, massive step up from Championship to Prem.
