Does anyone know of a good processor-power amp combination for around the £2,000 mark? There are plenty of power amps that are available for suiting the budget, but no processor that I can think of.

Just have to wait until Arcam release a DiVA processor otherwise.

    Cheers guys!

    Richard,

Isn't there a Cyrus processor for around £1000 - I'm sure General Skanky mentioned it in the thread about the Arcam processor.

    Cheers,
    Liam

Not a fan of Cyrus i'm afraid. Had reliability poblems with them when we did them so stopped, didn't think much of the sound either.

    Cheers anyhow Liam.

There is always Rotel. Their processors are generally a bit awkward to use, but sound good. The RSP-976 (I think) sounded very good last time I heard it, certainly it was better than my Denon A10SE.

See my post about the new Rotel RSP-1066. It's supposed to cost around £1200 and will apparently be out in a month or two.

It would partner the RMB-1075 for a £2k system....
