Has anyone else Pre-Ordered a xbox 360 Premium Package from Play.com?
Because today i logged into My Account and its saying "Your credit/debit card has been declined." i checked all my details and they are all correct. The only reason i can think of it being declined is not having £279.99 in my account but i thought they didnt charge you till they were shipped?
"There is a problem with your account.

    * Your account is currently suspended. Please review your Personal Info in the Your Account menu."

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks, Shaun

Well, pre ordering means they will take the money now and ship the system when it comes out. I assume since you dont have the money that you cant pre order.
    Hence the order error.
Could also be a problem with your card which is why its been declined.

    That's not true.

play.com only charge when an item is shipped, I certainly havent been charged yet for my 360.

I would suggest that you send them an email or give them a ring. A mate at work had a problem because it was his first order with them and for such a high value. They needed some kind of confirmation of address or something from him before they could process it. Can't remember exactly but I'm trying to get hold of him on MSN, so if he replies I'll let you know.

Just spoke to mate and they only needed him to verify the card which he did with a phone call. No money was taken though.

pre-ordered a 360 plus 4 games from play.com and everything is fine, they deffo don't take money out of your account until the order is processed for shipping.

I just hope they get enough units to fulfil the pre-orders.

Did you order since the price was announced or before? I ordered mine from them back at the end of May when they first put it up with a £399 tag but a disclaimer saying if it was lower, the lower place would be paid. After a couple of days, they took it down for pre-order saying that it was not currently available.

Since the price has become available my orer with them has changed to show the correct price and they also made it the premium pack with HDD etc.

If they had a lot of pre-orders originally, people ordering now may face a wait. Obvioulsy that is only speculation though.

To be honest, I only ordered with them because I got a bit excited and I'm not confident that it'll arrive for the launch day. That's why I also ordered one with gameplay.com, who are usually more than reliable.

When did you place your order ?

It could be there way saying they dont think they're going to have enough stock to cover your order ??

gameplay.com are now showing the following statement with 360 orders.
Looks like demand is definately going to outstrip supply on the initial batch. Luckily I ordered mine in the 17th :D
