Hi,

Why is it that when I am in a store I am convinced by the PQ of DVD's on the best plasmas but that the PQ on TV's is just plain crap ? I am gonna buy a 42 inch Fujitsu screen but the only good PQ I have seen is on the 32 inch Hitachi 5200. Not because the Hitachi has better PQ than the Fujitsu but just because of the size of the screen. 42 Inch is just too big for low quality broadcasts. Your opinions ?

Once you 'expand' any video image to fill a 42" or larger screen and you get close to the screen you get to see Source artefacts, Display artefacts and Poor display set-up and Calibration.

I'd say that 90% of the time SKY+ on my 04HDE Pioneer PlasmaTV is better than most folk would expect of a TV

Best regards

Joe

PS As you asked for opinions - I'd go for an HD (1024x768) Pioneer or Panasonic screen over the units you have mentioned :)
