Powerstrip on a 433MXE

Custom resolutions on Powerstrip are greyed out for me, because I think my Pio 433MXE is only recognised by Win XP as a generic plug and play monitor, and powerstrip needs a proper driver file for the display, to be able to handle it.

Is this correct and if so is there any way around it?

AFAIK the display device isn't an issue, it's the graphics card Powerstrip talks to. What video card do you have? Powerstrip can only control a very few different chips at the level needed to produce custom resolutions/refresh rates.

Very true, shouldn't be .. what version of the Catalyst drivers have you got? Powerstrip doesn't look at the display device in my experience, certainly neither my AE300 nor Z2 caused it problems and I had nothing special for those.
