Just thought I'd write a quick note about powering US amps. I just got my Larocco Full Monty which is a PPA based design. Many people asked me how I was going to power it since I'm currently based in Spain. A simple 24V DC 100 Ma+ power supply does the job perfectly. Even a laptop cable with 19v DC 3.16 A worked fine...[IMG]

In other words, GO FOR IT!! [IMG]

Just out of curiosity ipod, how was your PPA described on the customs declaration? Since it cleared without incurring import duty, I'm guessing not "Consumer Electronics, $1500". :D

Well Headsave shipped my amp before I had a chance to ask Norm to commit customs fraud (hehe) but it cleared with no problems anyway. £50 - what a bargain!

Posted a pic of it the another thread if you want one for the gallery, dude. :)
