Don't know whether this is a stupid question but here goes:

I've mounted my projector to the ceiling and very conveniently there's a light switch not to far away on the back wall with the usual L/E/N.
Can I run the projector from the switch or will I be playing with fire??

    Thanks.

    CKA.

Is it a light SWITCH or a light FITTING ?

A light switch is unlikely to have a neutral - it would normally be Live, switch return and earth.

If it's a light fitting - you could take a power feed from it, I have to power my screen  but don't tell anyone :smashin:

    Cheers

    Kevin.

    Duh! I meant light FITTING!
I'll give it a go but will have to alter the switch from prying hands tho.
