    Hi

    Would anyone happen to know the following:-

    Does a 36" CRT television use more/less/same power as a 50" plasma television?

    Less.

    The difference to your annual electric bill will be negligible though. So not worth worrying about.

    Just looked on the Samsung site.
    32" CRT = 160w but <3w standby
    50" Plasma = 480w but <1w standby
    47" LCD = 260w but <1w standby

    My LCD a Tosh 37WLT58 = 195w but <0.5w standby
