Wife says 30mins on a power plate is equivalent of 90 doing cardio.
Any experienced users here?
We have a about 50 cv machines and one power plate in the gym. It's very possible I can't get on a cv machine at peak times but 99 times out of 100 the power plate will be free.
I've only ever used it for stretching and it's pretty good for that.
Your wife's claim sounds like its targeted at something very specific, it probably relates to something like muscles worked as opposed to calories burned.
Did she learn that one off QVC?
I'll be honest and say I don't know a lot about them but out of every person I know who trains, many for competition, not one of them would use one.
I don't know much about them either, but that whole 30 mins equivalent to 90 mins sounds like marketing talk. We all know there are no shortcuts. Only those who are looking for one will believe it.
