In a moment of witlessness i cut the plug off the power cable to my new plasma in order to route the cable behind plasterboard walls.

I then read in the manual, do not cut off the cable as it 'may' contain some sort of radio interference blocker???

Have i just messed up good style or will a normal plug be ok.

Oh, by the way, as the length of the cable was touch and go when routing i cut it right up against the plug so i can't re-attach it

I know, I know.... but what can i say.... I was excited!!!

    :zonked:

would fit a normal plug - you can buy ferite rings from maplin that just slip over the cable to reduce radio interference if you are worried.
