I think its worth it, Ive got the 8 socket belkin power supply pure av metal one, Ive got a MG power lead into my skybox and a lead into my plasma and it does make a difference, wherever I have dirty mains is another question but watching skysports new the display bars with all the stats before plugging the belkin pure av in it used to fliker/bumper around with few artifacts around the wording. but since I've added the belkin it has reduced it considerably to the point you only notice it when your eyes r directly looking at it from few cm's away.

Why not buy decent equipment in the first place with a decent power supply?

Well I'm gonna say yes....but it depends on the level of equipment I guess.

I've tried basic surge protectors, Olsen Sounds Fantastic board and Tacima mains conditioners from Maplin (not the £40 ones either) and the Belkin PF50 really makes a noticable difference to the sound quality and a small improvement to picture.

It also guarantees the equipment connected against surges, over and under voltage problems and when you have some expensive equipment a bit of piece of mind is nice.
