Hey guys, picking up my projector on saturday.

    Do power cuts damage projectors?

Do people here who own projectors use a power backup?

If so which ones are good? What prices? Where from etc

All help, answers and advice appreciated.

The odd power cut should not do any harm to most projectors.
Repeated shut down without fan cooling will shorten lamp life and possibly damage parts of the projector close to the lamp module.
On the AVS Forum (and maybe this forum) some members use a UPS like you would on a PC.
If you do, make sure it is rated well above the current draw of the projector.
