    Hi Everyone,

i was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Crescendo Millenium (Mosfet) power amp? I found one and the seller is willing to sell it for 190 pounds plus delivery which prob it will be about 50. At the moment I'm using a DIY gain-clone power amp but is producing a humming noise that drives me around the bent. Plus I recently changed my speakers to the MA silver 6s and the 45w doesn't do them justice. The only problem is that I want to keep the cost below 300 pounds for at least 80w.

    Any thoughts?

Curious, what is the rest of your system? If you have a Power Amp, you must have something functioning as a Pre-Amp to feed it, and you must have some type of Source to feed the Pre-Amp.

If you want Maximum value in amps, consider the Behringer A500 Studio Reference Class-A/B Power Amp which are about £175 with 125w/ch to 8 ohms. The amp can be Bridged, so for stereo it would take two of the amps, buy you would have 375w/ch to 8 ohms.
