My main processor is in for repair atm so I'm forced to try out the onboard decoder of the Sony 900V DVD player with my Rotal RMB-1075 Power Amp. To my horror there is no obvious volume control now, in the DVD players menu I've set the front speakers to their minimum of -6db and matched the others to it but it's way too loud still. Am I missing something here or it is just the sad truth that I'll be without movies or music untill my main processor is repaired/replaced :(

To rub salt into the wounds my copy of AVIA arrived today and Uncle Eric's HGS sub is on the horizon..............this is gonna be a long fortnight.

If it'll make you feel better I will put myself out and look after your sub for you for a couple of weeks.
