    Evening all,

Think I know the answer to this already but would appreciate confirmation.

If I am connecting a DVD player to a Nicam CRT TV what cable will I require for audio?

My assumption is a straight forward 2 Phono to 2 Phono interconnect cable?

Is a decent cable such as Mark Grant's interconnect likely to improve performance considering I am only using the TV's speakers?

    Cheers.

Depends on what you're using at the moment? Can't imagine it being that radical an improvement, if any at all.

I would a just a scart cable. If you need to use phono cables, then a cheap one will do. One of Mark's cables wouldn't make any difference really with a TV.

It's all new kit so not using anything at the moment! Tosh 36ZP46 (Nicam version of 36ZP48) CRT TV and Pioneer 575 DVD player.

Will be using component video connections to utilise prog scan capabilities. Simply need to know what cable/connection I should be using for audio and whether it's worthwhile investing in something decent when I'll only be using the TV's stereo speakers for the time being.

    Cheers.
