Sorry for those folks that don't use flickr but do feel free to post the 3 you think are your most 'interesting'

For some reason flickr doesn't allow people to view others photo's sorted by interestingness so this is the only way I can think of to view people most interesting photo's.

To display your photo's by most interesting view your photostream by clicking on 'You'. When on this page underneath where it says "Your photos" there are different options - click on the word "popular" and your photos will be ordered by inerestingness by defualt.

Here's my 3.

#1 - Waterfall ( 929 views / 91 people count this as a favorite / 46 comments )

15mm | 30s | F18 | ISO 100 | CPL + ND8

#2 - Field at Sunset ( 864 views / 39 people count this as a favorite / 28 comments )

13mm | 1/13s | F8 | ISO 100

#3 - Forth Bridge at Sunrise ( 577 views / 33 people count this as a favorite / 23 comments )

18mm | 1/15s | F9 | ISO 100

Hopefully this thread will be a sort of showcase of people's best shots (although interestingness isn't always associated with technically perfect photos)

Not may favourites by a long shot but there ya go :)

The Websense category Flickr "Social Networking and Personal Sites" is filtered. Dam you work computers I could get on last week...:( I used to like wasting time on ther too..

Nice idea for a thread ally, and here is my Top 3 (in reverse order):

#3 Worm's Eye View (13 views / 2 people count this as a favorite / 1 comment)

#2 Distant Rain (44 views / 2 people count this as a favorite / 4 comments)

#1 Le Cheval (61 views / 2 people count this as a favorite / 6 comments)

Not been at this game for long, but I can see some sort of progression in quality here.....Worm's Eye was one of my first efforts, whilst the other two are from my recent(ish) holiday to France.

1: View from Zabriskie Point, Death Valley

2: Mist at the dam on Lac de Roselend

3: View from dry dock containing SS Great Britain

I agree, good post!

Here are my top 3;

3) Trees at Sunset 27 views / 1 person counts this as a favorite / 8 comments

2) Wooden Bridge 91 views / 4 people count this as a favorite / 23 comments

Can see why some of these are favourites, superb shots.

My 'popular' photos are as follows:

141738551-M.jpg

142613024-M.jpg

144627692-M.jpg

141737798-M.jpg

Can't figure out how to make them clickable ;)

To make them clickable format the link like this

{url=url of photo page}{img}url of image ending in .jpg{/img}{/url}

Change the curly brackets to square, I had to use curly or the code would be parsed and you wouldn't see it ;)
And use preview :smashin:

Some brilliant photographs posted already.

Here are my top 3 - all macros:

#1 - 307 views, 12 favourites, 22 comments

#2 - 286 views, 11 favourites, 31 comments

#3 - 283 views, 4 favourites, 5 comments

Cheers.

Good shout Ally - some real crackers here already! Here are my efforts.

Can't figure out how to make them clickable ;)

 is that because they are hosted on Smugmug? ;)

How does it rate how interesting they are

It uses a strange algorithm basing it's findings on amount of views, amount of comments, groups posted to, tags and how much HDR it has had done to it

I don't take much notice of 'Explore' these days

:rotfl:

I must admit i'm very guilty of not tagging my shots, and now i've decided to keep with lightroom it is something i've really got to sort out :D

My top four by 'interestingness' I included one more because 2 and 3 are the same shot processed differently.

Hi ya all

Here something that may help you

Flickr Set Manager

Flickr Set Manager allows you to automatically create new sets on Flickr based on various criteria such as interestingness, date posted and tags, or even from a random set of photographs.

Will post my 3 in a mo
