There are quite a few bargains to be found in their MGM promotion which was due to end at the end of June but still appears to be on. A lot of older titles for approx £3.22 delivered, you can't be bad to it!

sites probably down again while they bump the prices up again
i had my eye on 2 boxsets due for release in september, when they first came on they were $53.98,i came back the next day to pre order them and they had both gone upto $54.98,i though I'll keep my eye on them and checked back every day to see if they dropped again,I checked Saturday afternoon and they were still the same,I checked Saturday evening and they had both gone upto $62.98,Anyway managed to find a cheaper alternative to dvdsoon and got them both for $53 each
do check with the usual price comparison sites to see that dvdsoon are the cheapest as they are not always

It's always worth doing a pricecheck: Of course 'Soon won't always be the cheapest for everything, but when they're good they are very very good inc. the MGMs above. Anyhoo their site's back up with Schindler's List Collectors' Giftset for approx £14-30 inc. free postage! :)

Clue - the Movie, Catch 22, 9 - 5, Bridges at Toko-Ri & The Day of the Locust all now down to £5.46

    Blazing Saddles 30th etc £7.14.
Man with the X-Ray Eyes (scared me sh*!less as a kid) still in the $7.98.

Anyone remember "C.H.U.D." - get it for £3.77. One of the first videos I watched but I couldnt tell you if it's worth buying.

At £2.93 "Cleopatra Jones" may well raise a snigger or three.
I quote - "Cleo responds with catlike karate stealth. Doodlebug, Pickle, Snake and more of Mommy's offbeat stooges add glide to the story's stride. Their antics, Mommy's chortling sleaziness and Cleo's class shape the power and pizazz of Cleopatra Jones" -oh my word.

Last but by no means least - Can't Stop the Music.
DD 5.1 / DTS 6.1 and The Village People
(how many of you were just as naive and unworldly-wise as me when you saw them on TOTP and didn't realise what the moustaches and outfits meant? :)
    for £5.88.

Ahh Clue! such a good film - pity i bought it months ago from amazon.com else i'd snap that up.

I was browsing dvdsoon a couple of weeks ago and found Monthy Python - Meaning Of Life for just over £5.. now i'm not sure if this is a new edition but it was 2 disc with DTS so hopefully should be good value for £5!

Has anyone seen "Supernova"? Is it as bad as they say? ("grade-A, double-barrelled, triple-plated stinker" according to Total's review :rotfl: :rotfl: ). I can't resist films that are panned by everyone when they are so cheap. Somebody talk me out of it quick :suicide:

DVD Soon are good, but I usually find that DVD Pacific is cheaper still. Yes, you have to pay a small amount for postage, but they still usually come out the best..

    Hi All,

I think the main concensus is thay dvd.soon is the cheapest on the board.
    Good for them
I have ordered hundreds of titles with no regret- maybe very lucky, maybe very stupid, who knows - I still ,and will always buy from fom them, R1 progresive rules

No way I can agree with you on this one - I always check out various suppliers before purchasing and so far I would estimate approx 200 orders to Dvdsoon, 6 to Pacific.

I guess it depends on what you're buying. 9 times out of 10 I find DVD Pacific to be the cheapest when I want to place an order, but I usually buy older titles. I think DVD Soon may have the edge on brand new titles.

For example, you can buy Dark City or Lawnmower Man (New Line Platinum Editions) for £4.54 each from DVD Pacific (including postage), but they are £6.72 on DVD Soon.
