I have a Pioneer PDP-434HDG, which has one HDMI in connection, which I currently use from my Denon 2910. I am considering buying a mini mac to use for internet/music/photos, and wish to connect it to my plasma. The mini mac has DVI out, I believe I can buy an AVI to HDMI converter, but given the HDMI slot is already occupied, I don't know how to set it up.

I see the newer Pioneers ship with 2 HDMI connections; is it possible to upgrade my current media receiver? Do I have any other alternatives that would produce a good picture?

    Confused...

Thanks guys, both good suggestions. How much better will the quality be between VGA and HDMI? Also, with the splitter, how would you toggle between the feeds? Is there a priority channel?

    Cheers Sean
