Question Possible to Install Firmware for Different Region?

I'm rocking a UA40F5500AR I purchased whilst in the UAE. I recently relocated to the UK and was wondering if it's possible to install or "flash" a different territory firmware to the television.

If so is it as simple as downloading the file to USB and installing from the appropriate menu setting? Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?

TIA!

Not fully sure it makes a difference?

Speaking from the perspective of an ex HU8500 owner with the upgraded SEK3500, I bought the German version of the box, selected my region and all the apps (iPlayer as main example) populated...

What would you see as being the main reason for wanting the “correct” regions firmware?

Edit: then again, I see the UAE version is newer, and has .1 as a suffix rather than .0 for the UK version - normally the suffix will stop the update from happening if it is not a match.
