I have the Pioneer VSX-LX60 receiver at present, which is my first and only ever Receiver. A few times now while watching TV have lost the picture and sound for about 3-4 seconds and then it comes back fine. I have noticed that when this happens the Pioneer front panel lights dim and them came back at the same time. I suspect that it is the receiver causing the problem.
Instead of having it looked at and repaired, I thought I might purchase a new unit.
Can someone suggest an equivalent new receiver to replace this with. As I have not had any other I am not sure whether to stick with Pioneer or look at say a Denon, Sony Yamaha .... you get the drift, I have no idea :)

It will be hooked up with -
    Panasonic TH-L55ET60Z LED,
    Panasonic DMP-BDT330 Bluray,
    Polk Audio RT1 A7 mains,
    PolkAudio CS10 center,
    Polk Audio PSW110 sub
(and am looking at adding rears soon)

    thanks for any help,
    David
