    Afternoon Folks,

According to TVShowsOnDVD at the story on the clickable weblink, "NYPD Blue" DVD fans in the UK can look forward to seeing Season 3 soon!

The delay, is because Fox has simply had too many other TV show titles to release over the past 6 months, and wants to be able to release all 12 seasons worth of "NYPD Blue", so that fans can complete their DVD collections! (Season 12, starting in Autumn 2004 in the USA, will be the shows final ever series, making Dennis Franz one of the few actors to have played the same character in every single episode of a shows run, from inception to completion, through twelve long years of gritty drama!)

However, in order for them to do so, they need to sell as many of the sets as possible. With the show still getting exposure via UK fans, the British media, and Sky's FX channel (which are showing reruns of earlier seasons), Fox wants to give the DVD releases the best chance possible.

With each set to contain 6 discs, and retailing at about £44-99 each, they want to be able to release all the remaining 10 seasons in the UK, and not have to increase the price of the sets, as this would be detrimental to long-term fans of the show within the UK, who have stuck with Sipowicz and Co, from the start. (Despite Channel Four's appalling treatment of the show in recent years.)

So, don't sell or discard those current "NYPD Blue" boxed sets just yet, as there is hope that we will see future episodes coming to UK DVD!

    Contact Channel 5 now!

If you love NYPD Blue contact channel 5 now to ask them to aquire the right to this excellent programme from channel whore(4) who dont respect their viewers needs by burying one of the greatest cop shows ever well after midnight.

If they get enough contacts, they may go for it.

    just imagine tuesday nights

    9:00 pm CSI
    10:00 pm NYPD Blue
    11:00 pm The Shield

What a night that would be!!!!

Five is full up - one of the CSIs will be 'sidelined' when they start showing CSI New York + Alias and Angel were shown at ridiculous times. I think you'd find they'd show it at a similar time to Channel 4.

CSI NY doesnt start until November in the states, So its likely a jan/Feb start here it shouldnt clash with the other 2 and anyway there are plenty of days in the week.

C5 dont show anything of value after midnight as a rule and more often than not it sport.
