How big is the room? What is the system for? Is it just for speach to make it loud enough for all to hear during a service (i.e. when people are seated and generally quiet)? Does the whole system need to be portable? If not which bits need to be portable and why?
The systems you have linked too do not look particularly big or that powerful so depending on the usage and room size etc. may not have enough grunt to do the job you want.

Looks pretty good and appears to have some reasonable sized speakers which will help in a hall type environment. I think for the money it would be better than the small portable systems you were looking at.

I would go for the Peavey. It comes from a much better stable and will last longer.

The issue with cheaper systems is the speakers on the whole. They do not sound as good and the gain before feedback will be substantially lower than on a decent system. This means your all important vocal mics and lapel mics will feedback at a lower level.

We use the Yamaha Stagepas 300 Portable PA System: Amazon.co.uk: Musical Instruments Yamaha PA 300. These sound great, are very portable and seem to be bomb proof. The difference between this and the QTX will be chalk and cheese.
