Portable gps and livetracking??

I would like a portable unit with the capability of automatically storing waypoints on a set time interval as I go for a walk. I've tried various forums and other sources but the only info I can find is the Anquet mapping loaded onto a pda where they refer to livetracking.

Ideally I would also be able to pre-enter route waypoints for a walk.

What is out there?

Hoping for some pointers.

For Windows Mobile PDA's the best (at least most popular) is Memory Map, i have this and it's bleeding fantastic :)

For Symbian smart phones (nokia's etc), the choice is far more limited. The best being View Ranger.
