Popcorn C-200 Remote problems?

I have received a C-200 today (auction) but it does not seem to recognise the remote (RF).
It lights up ok, remote.

I can control certain things from the front panel but it is very limited.

Any ideas?

Do you have the aeriel for it? Is it screwed into the back properly? Have you tried fresh batteries?

If yes then try re-synching the remote with the NMT:

Turn off the popcorn completely.
Remove the batteries from the remote
turn on the PCH and let it boot up completely.
insert the batteries into the remote and wait 30 seconds.

The remote should have re-synched with the PCH.
