    Hi All

I am trying to connect my Seagate Armor Nas 220 to my Popbox HD, The Popbox will see the Nas on the network but will not pull in any files at all.

I am hardwired in and have an ip address, like i say it finds the nas ok but will not scan in any files at all.

    Thanks Simon

Are guest read/write permissions enabled on the NAS for the folders the Popbox is trying to scan ?

    Hi there

    Under folder share permissions

Public access is set to enable and nfs access is set to full access.

This is for the folder where all the media is located.

Is this what you are referring too.

    Thanks

Yeah that's right, strange that it wont access the NAS then, is it the Popbox 3D you have ?, can it read the NAS over NFS, as I know the Popbox v8 can but not sure about the original Popbox. Also try rebooting both your network router and the NAS.

You might want to ask on the Popbox forums if it's some unusual NAS conflict.

    Hi there

Yes it's the new pop box 3d version, I will try the steps you suggest.

I have the Nas set to read nfs so should be fine.
