I have a Relisys 32 inch LCD screen and when watching TV through my Digital tuner the picture quality is awful! The digi box is a Nokia Mediamaster 9850T and i use scart to get the signal to the TV. I understand that the digi box is pretty old but i didnt expect the picture to look like when you have just 16 colours enabled on your windows desktop! should I be using a different digi box and not scart? I cant afford sky though, so that option is out of the question. I use the DVD player in my PC through a DVI cable which operates on HDTV settings and gives an excellent picture, can I view terrestial digital TV through my PC? Cheers Ben.

You could view Digital TV through your PC, yes, if you bought a Digital Tuner Card.

Digital TV tends to look awful anyway, but what you're describing sounds like excessive noise reduction being applied. Look in your TV's menus and turn off any "Enhancement" features to see if that makes it more bearable.
