Poor Sky Q signal in rain

In my building a 22 storey high rise the signal from communal dish was always good even in heavy rain and snow with Sky +HD Now with Sky Q the picture pixellates badly even in what I consider light rain and sometimes loss of signal altogether. Is it worth querying if the dish needs to be changed for something a bit bigger for Sky Q? The cabling is all managed by a contractor on behalf of building management.
Do others lose Sky Q signal in rain ?

Nope - Q or Sky+HD should cope with weather equally. Sounds like it might be a problem with the distribution system.

satellite can be affected by heavy rain, doesn't matter if it's Q or Sky+.
a poorly aligned dish could be the reason, but even a perfectly aligned dish will fail during extreme heavy torrential rain.
