While playing DVDs and listening through the TV the lip-sync is OK but when listening through my AV Amp sometimes the lip-sync is behind the movie. I am using a Sony STRDE475 and Matsui DVD122, I am thinking of buying a Toshiba SD220E and am hoping the problem lies with the player!

Check you delay settings on the amp. Chances are that is where the problem lies.

I dont have any problems with films, but using my old Pioneer 626 on music video, Metallica and RATM the sync is always out. Tried swapping to a mates Sony and same problem. Is it DVD, Player or Amp?
