The outputs from both the coaxs on the back of my pace v2 sky+ box are crap

The scart is fine but the coax is shocking quality, I'm using high quaility coax to connect, any ideas what is wrong ?

Also the remote eye I purchased does not work, I was wondering if these two things are linked ?

Is there any hidden settings etc I can try ( I've already enabled RF2 amp output )

    Cheers

Which co-ax are you talking about? The analogue sound or video or both?

The video will be composite which is more or less the lowest standard available where as the scart will most likely be RGB which is one of the better standards.

i recomend going into the serivce menu and altering the RF settings.

also i found the remote sensor on the sky + box to be very tricky i found a sweet spot where it worked couple of millimeters diferent and mine didnt work. so just keep trying

If you are talking about the RF output of the SKY+ then have you adjusted the frequency to make sure it does not clash with any local analogue/digital broadcasts and the RF output of other devices nearby such as a VCR?
If the SKY+ RF frequency is the same or too close to an exisiting signal then you will get a very poor picture regardless of the quality of the cable you are using.

    Cheers fellas

It was the Rf frequency that needed changing

Still cannot get the remote eye working, it works from the back of the sky box but not from upstairs, so I must have a short somewhere, I'm going to investigate today

    Cheers once again
