Just seen this on their website:

We are delighted to announce that Warner Village Cinemas has been acquired by SBC International Cinemas. The new company will be Vue Entertainment Group. There will be no change in the service you currently receive. Further information on the new company can be found at http://www.myvue.com.

No change in service? Only time will tell. Their website doesn't even work.

    That doesn't bode well...

I hope they return to numbered seating - that way I can get the tickets a day early (or earlier in he day) and know that I'm going to have a decent seat....

    I don't think that'll happen though - it's probably not compatible with on-line booking.

    Gary.

I didn't like the Warner Village cinemas all too much - thought the sound quality wasn't up to much. Quite bright & brittle, not the best sense of realism (or - IMHO - bass presence)

doesent matter at our local Warners, wether you get a good seat or not - the incline is so little, if someone sits infront of you, its a waste of time.

UGC at Sheffiled - now theres a good cinema.
