Narrowing it down a little, which of these manufacturers provides your favourite speakers, whether that be main loudspeakers, subwoofers or speaker packages etc...

Add Definitive Technology, NHT, Ruark, Krell, Meridian, Martin Logan, Wilson Bench to that list.

Spendor every time for me (not that I own any just now mind).

So many missing from that list - no Monitor Audio or Quad for example.

And BK make it on there for that one sub and yet Velodyne (America's equivalent of REL) aren't included despite dozens of avforums members having bought them.

    Matt.

No ones voted for it yet! Funny old thing.:rotfl:
I voted Mission because IMHO they provide good quality speakers at a relatively low price.

Bit daft having subwoofer manu in there as well? Is it a speaker only poll or subwoofer poll as well?

You'll probably need around 100 options (or more) to have every medium sized to international manu. speaker & subwoofer maker on the planet.

Quite a fan of MS as it goes...
The best speakers that I have ever heard however would be Wilson Benesch.

theres at least 4 companys in that list i'd 100% not have speaker's from...

kind of a silly poll as there are so many decent makes missing...if you put all manufacturers on there ,the list would be the 1st 4 pages:rotfl:

I'd love to say it was me, but I'd never be able to live with the shame

I've not actually voted as I have never heard the majority of those listed.

I take it Bose are not very well liked? I always assumed they were very good, with the price being so high and all

Bose products are very over priced for what they are. The sats are a little tinny for my liking and the subs are certainly no room shakers!
I think they do well by commercial popularity. Bose have created a good name for them self, but I feel a very large bulk of their customers are perhaps Jo Bloggs customers who walk in off the high street not really knowing what a a high end product really sounds like. The demand remains as does the price, and of course people assume that this high price must reflect a high quality product.
Am I going to see all the Bose fans coming out the woodwork to wage war on the non believers?!:D
