Ok, I've read the many and varied posts on this - going back to when the first 434's were delivered. I note with interest the settings that various owners have suggested.

However, now that there seems to be a reasonably sized installed user base, I'm interested to learn how most have settled on the various connection options.

I have tried to compare the different signals with the split screen function. However I am not too sure how accurate this is as the left hand box always appears sharper anyway.

Just on full screen viewing it was clear to me that the aerial feed is poorer than s video and RGB is better still.

Much sharper clearer image with more natural colours.

Is anyone using a JS RGB->Component or RGB->Plasma VGA box between their Sky+ and their 434?

If so, has it made a noticeable difference? Especially with football which is just dire at present.

How about when combined with an iScan (or similar)?

Using JS RGB to VGA on a Fuji with Sky+ and very good results.Should also be good with a 434. Football is as good as crt .
